Starfield by Tim015 Starfield by Tim015
A Star-field brush I made for my upcoming vector. I am getting there by the way :P

To find the brush, open the .ai file linked to this page, and go into the brushes panel. It should look like a white circle. If you can not see the brushes panel, go to Window > Brushes.

I noticed there was no easy star-field brushes which provided a good variety in the size and scatter, so I hope this proves useful for some people :P

The closer you draw the lines together using the brush tool, the denser the stars will be.

Other settings such as the spread values, scatter levels and size variation can be accessed in the
scatter-brush options panel, accessible by double clicking the brush in the brushes window.

Made with Illustrator CS6. Should be compatible
with any recent version (CS3 and up)

Ahhh, You thought it was a Photoshop Brush. It's not. It's a Illustrator Brush.

Well You open the file on Illustrator, go to the brushes panel and select my brush. Then use the brush tool to paint the star-field on.
